Well, okay, officially the hike is rated as “easy” BUT… Because this is a semi-active volcano (you will see stream rising from rock formations during your hike) it can get a little warm of your trek during warm to hot days. On the day we went, it was HOT. At every rest-stop we passed there were hikers resting, covered in sweat. We did it the easy way (by horseback).
