After a quick visit to Jardin de Marimar, our next stop was to one of Antipolo’s top tourist destinations, the famous Hinulugang Taktak Waterfalls. Located in Brgy. Dela Paz Antipolo City lies the 12-meter-high waterfall of Hinulugang Taktak which gain its fame through the song “Tayo Na Sa Antipolo”. When we finally arrived, we are welcome by the friendly smiles of the staff. Friendly? Hmm, maybe just eager to take money from a foreigner for an overpriced entrance fee. And, to make it worse, they weren’t shy to announce it…

One of the few ancient remains of the Philippines in Manila. To be honest, the fort is a genuinely interesting attraction for locals and tourists alike that will not only interest you with its architecture but also give you an insight into the country’s identity and culture. I find it relaxing just to walk around the area, getting a sense of what life must have been like during Spanish colonial rule. It’s a hot walk in summer though, so take an umbrella if possible.
Bolo Beach Pangasinan was both hot but also at the same time a definite NOT…
In some ways, Bolo was a disappointment but, at the same time, we loved the place. When we were there in July there were quite a few jelly fish floating in the water and washing up on the beach. Be warned that there are times of the year when these things might happen and it only takes one jelly fish sting to ruin a holiday.. On previous visits we didn’t have this problem so I hope it is a one time thing.

Cabongaoan Beach, Burgos Review. Is it worth the journey? Tips, comments, photos, videos and advice.
MOA Amusement Park, SM By The Bay – First of all, a day is never enough for this place. Add to this, the endless choices of dining, recreation, and entertainment outside the humongous mall. The best place to watch the sunset and cap the day of shopping. Ever since I can remember, SM has been the go-to mall for everyone. And this has not changed. SM Mall of Asia in Pasay being the 3rd biggest of all the SM Supermalls. But the humongous size of this mall isn’t the only thing that makes this mall unique.
Since I remember I’ve always been in love with the mountains. They’ve always been with me, even in my earliest childhood. Can you hear the mountains calling to you also?
Hulugan Falls Laguna, let’s find out what all the hype is about. In late 2015, the Filipino Backpacking community was set alight with excitement when a picture of a newly found waterfall in Laguna was posted in social media. Before too long backpackers were heading to the falls and posting about their experiences on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The buzz had started, the word was out and we couldn’t resist the temptation to see this natural wonder ourselves.
