Our first stopover took us to the Coron Souvenir and Gift Shop where you can find many cheap souvenir items. Lualhati Park is Coron’s very own bay walk with the inspiring beauty of the scenic Coron coastline was the next stop. Other stops were St Agustine Parish Church and  Mount Tapyas.

Who’s been in Mt Tapyas Coron in Palawan? Do you like the sunsets? Do you agree that the best place to watch a sunset would be from the peak of Mt Tapyas?

With the sun about to set, we wasted no time. From the basketball court (which serves as the Mountain’s jump off point), the sight of the staircase was very challenging. We were greeted warmly by a bunch of vendors selling bottled water, some souvenirs like dry bags. The path going up is clean and maintained. Along the way, we stopped to capture the beautiful views.

Mt Tapyas Coron serves as a popular viewpoint offering sweeping panoramas over the surrounding islands, Coron Town proper and the harbor. At 210 meters with over 700 steps to the top, it is one of the most dominant mountains in town.
