Koorah koorah Restaurant
Koorah koorah Restaurant looked okay from the outside, but it did come across as looking more like a karinderia than a restaurant. The decor was fresh and open and I did like the ceiling made from twigs, but the open walls meant putting up with some mosquitoes and other bugs every now and then. Luckily this didn’t happen too often.
Koorah Koorah Restaurant Tagaytay Review
My cousin and I both ordered Lechon Kawali and Joan ordered beef tapa. Both dishes cost P99 each which is a reasonable price.
It did take the waiter at least 15 minutes before he came back to take our order. While waiting it was hard to ignore how greasy the table surface was… As if it had been wiped over with an oily sponge. Luckily when the meals eventually arrived the cutlery and plates were all clean and hygienic.
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” –Michael Jordan
Unfortunately I must say the staff is not in the least bit attentive to their customers. The waiter we had was extremely bad with common customer service. We had to waited for almost an hour for our order. They only realized our food was not cooked after our third follow-up. It is plain to see the staff is poorly trained and know little about managing customers professionally.
As for the drinks… My cousin Jay had calamansi juice which he found way too sour. Joan had Ice tea and it too was too bland. Both drinks needed a good dose of sugar to make them drinkable unless you like sour and bland…. I had the natural mango juice and it was fine… not a lot that can go wrong with mango juice.
Yes, the food was good for the price. Koorah Koorah Restaurant is budget priced and most of the dishes on the menu are priced on the low side, but they have items in the menu that were a bit pricey. If you’re really on the budget, and don’t mind waiting an hour for a simply but cheap meal then this might be a good place for you.
They also have a second floor if you want to escape to a higher place… Hopefully they won’t forget you are up there… (lol).
If you plan to travel to Tagaytay, please tag me if you want… I still hope to explore more of the place.
