Taal Volcano Tour | Taal Volcano Horseback Riding With Cheche

Well, okay, officially the hike is rated as “easy” BUT… Because this is a semi-active volcano (you will see stream rising from rock formations during your hike) it can get a little warm of your trek during warm to hot days. On the day we went, it was HOT. At every rest-stop we passed there were hikers resting, covered in sweat. We did it the easy way (by horseback). Taking the Taal Volcano Tour by horseback is definitely worth it. Watch the video to see the difference.

Coron Town Tour Review

Coron Town Tour Reviewed | Explore the Town

Coron has been dropping jaws for years and it is no surprise why. A great place to start is not always by exploring the beautiful island of Coron, first, explore the small town of Coron.

Coron town tour, run by K-Tours, is a half day tour which gives you an option to explore and learn about Coron town, its major landmarks, people, dialect and its culture. This tour is the most convenient, easiest way and most affordable way of experiencing Coron Town. They have a complimentary free pick-up service from your hotel located in Coron Town Center to the drop-off area. We are not affiliated with K-Tours in any way…

Our first stopover took us to the Coron Souvenir and Gift Shop where you can find many cheap souvenir items. Lualhati Park is Coron’s very own bay walk with the inspiring beauty of the scenic Coron coastline was the next stop. Other stops were St Agustine Parish Church and  Mount Tapyas.

Coron Island Hopping Tour Experience – 3 Island Tour

The sun, the sand, the waves, and the turquoise waters define a Coron island hopping tour. But, it doesn’t matter how beautiful the scenery if your tour is badly organized.

When you start collecting all the various brochures for Coron tours, you start to realize that most of the tours look very similar. For us, it came down to price and inclusions. Now, this seems like a reasonable way to decide which is the better trip to book but as we found out, you don’t always get all the inclusions listed on the brochure. And to make it worse, most people don’t take the brochure with them on the trip so they don’t realize what was missed.

Mt Tapyas Coron Take The Challenge: 700+ Steps To An Amazing Sunset

Who’s been in Mt Tapyas Coron in Palawan? Do you like the sunsets? Do you agree that the best place to watch a sunset would be from the peak of Mt Tapyas?

With the sun about to set, we wasted no time. From the basketball court (which serves as the Mountain’s jump off point), the sight of the staircase was very challenging. We were greeted warmly by a bunch of vendors selling bottled water, some souvenirs like dry bags. The path going up is clean and maintained. Along the way, we stopped to capture the beautiful views.

Mt Tapyas Coron serves as a popular viewpoint offering sweeping panoramas over the surrounding islands, Coron Town proper and the harbor. At 210 meters with over 700 steps to the top, it is one of the most dominant mountains in town.

Kayangan Lake Coron Palawan Cheche Feature

Kayangan Lake Coron Palawan Explored & Reviewed

Kayangan Lake, being as popular as it is, usually has a multitude of tourists and boats flanking the gateway to the lake and effectively block the view and ruining many great shots and pictures – but what could you expect? And, yes, this as the case when we arrived. Kayangan Lake has been plastered on plenty of travel websites and social media accounts; it’s understandable that the crowds have come.

The water is extremely clear and the colors are amazing. While it puts Coron on the map for most visitors, these beautiful islands hold many more amazing sights as well. Here is everything you need to know when planning a trip to Kayangan Lake.

There’s a little wooden walkway and platform to stash your things if you go for a swim. Don’t expect privacy or quiet, though, as the lagoon where boats unload passengers looks like a mall parking lot at noon. Gary brought his drone but sadly he decided not to use it because of the crowds, the limited time we had.
